The conference and workshops will take place in the lecture hall building at
B6 (B6 being the address of the building). The city of Mannheim is organized based
on a grid in which blocks are named by letters and numbers. The
registration in the foyer of the B6 building opens at 8:30 am and during the sessions.
Further directions to lunches as well as the conference banquet, which will take place in the castle, will be given at the conference venue. |

The trams in Mannheim will bring you close to B6.
You can use the lines 1 and 5. Get off at stop "Schloss". (Your personal schedule for the public tranportation

Leave
the main entrance of Mannheim Mainstation. Then walk across the rails of the Tram and walk straight until you reach a multilane street (Bismarck-Strasse).
Now turn left and walk along the multilane street. After a while you will reach the Court of the Castle (yet a building site).
Across the street there is a tram station. Cross the street at the 2nd traffic light and then turn left and follow the multilane street again.
Pass the building with the round sandstone sculptures and then turn right and walk across the "Asamplatz". On the left side there is a church.
After it, turn left and walk along the street at the side of the church. Then walk straight across the junction (photo 2). You will find B6 on the right side of the street.
